I started working in the field of Photojournalism with the United Nations at age 20, after Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines and destroyed part of the country. I was hired as a Field Manager to clear up the millions of tons of debris, and eventually evolved into being part of the Communication team as a Graphic Designer and Photojournalist. I had then already spent about 3 years in South East Asia where I studied for my Masters in Marketing and worked in the field of Communication with different advertising agencies.
Several projects, including work with OXFAM and ADRA in Nepal after the earthquake hit, and in Iraq and Lebanon, covering the refugee crisis for the United Nations and Doctors Without Borders; and my upcoming exhibitions and publications in SEA and Europe pushed me to stay in the field of Photography and Communication.
I finished my Masters is Marketing and Communication at Baruch College in New York City in 2016.
